Credentials and timeline
Consulting Hypnotist. Master NLP Practitioner. Certified Life Coach. Master's in Psychology. Doctoral degree in 1983 from an accredited college of hypnosis. EFT trained with Gary Craig. Life Coach Institute of Florida with Dr. Helmstetter.
Member of the National Guild of Hypnotists, the American Hypnosis Association, the International Hypnosis Association, and the American Psychological Association. Medical referrals are accepted. Jim consults with psychiatrists and psychologists on difficult cases.
Phone sessions from day one in 1998. California in-person office from 1998 to 2013. Distance sessions remain the primary format.
Virtually anyone can learn how to hypnotize another person because hypnosis is a natural phenomenon. Providing therapy within the scope of hypnosis takes training and experience. An untrained hypnotherapist can cause irreparable harm. Jim brings multiple post-graduate degrees, including a Master's in Psychology, to that work.
